Julius Searight has been with the Sankofa Program at West Elmwood Housing Development Corporation in Rhode Island since 2017. He is a 2013 Culinary Arts/Food Service Management graduate of Johnson & Wales University, with studies focused on advanced culinary labs, entrepreneurship, and food culture. He is a, recipient of the 2014 Johnson & Wales Outstanding Young Alumni Award, and a contestant on Food Network's Great Food Truck Race.
