Director of Communications & Development
Kristin Ginger is the Director of Communications and Development for Housing Action Illinois, where she leads efforts to communicate the coalition's mission and impact, shift public narratives around homelessness and affordable housing, and diversify revenue. Previously, she worked in communications and marketing at Women Employed, supported family literacy at a Head Start program, wrote creative copy at Groupon, and served as an AmeriCorps VISTA at a refugee resettlement agency. She holds a B.A. from Carleton College and an M.F.A. in Creative Fiction from Boston University.
